What Changed: Read-Only to Read-Write

Before March 27, 2026, ChatGPT's integrations with Notion, Box, Linear, and Dropbox were read-only. You could ask ChatGPT to summarize your Notion notes, search your Box files, or pull up Linear tickets — but ChatGPT could not create, edit, or update anything. How to Set Up (or Reconnect) the Integrations

If you are setting up these integrations for the first time, or need to reconnect to get write access, the process takes about 2 minutes per app.

STEP 1

Open ChatGPT and go to Settings (click your profile icon, bottom left).

Select Integrations (or Connected Apps depending on your plan).
